Our Pastors
Gene Kaufman
Lead Pastor
Pastor Kaufman has dedicated his life to serving Jesus by leading believers and non-believers into a closer relationship with Him. His desire is to show people that Jesus is real!
After graduating from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO in 1991, Pastor Gene served as a Youth Pastor until 1994 then he pastored a home mission church in Cherokee, Iowa.
His next assignment was an inner-city church in Gary, Indiana and then Valley Assembly in West Des Moines, Iowa. The Kaufman family came to GracePointe, Augusta, KS in 2002 with their three children.
Pastor Gene is known for his passionate, Pentecostal preaching and his love for inspiring storytelling.
Terri Rawlings
Associate Pastor
Pastor Terri Rawlings accepted the position at GracePointe in 2009. Previously she served as Children’s Pastor at Generations Church (formerly Andover Assembly of God) from 1992 – 2009.
Pastor Terri became an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God in 2009.
Terri and Mike have been married for 40+ years with four grown children and six grandchildren. They also own MI-TE Electric Inc., a business they started together in 1984.
Mike also serves the City of Augusta as Mayor and serves GracePointe on the Deacon Board.
Pastor Terri loves working with people and has dedicated her life to leading them to the treasure found in God’s Word.
